Immediately after accomplishing her Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University in 1969, Gail Weingast began her path toward becoming a doctor. A student at Boston University’s School of Medicine, she studied through to her Degree in Medicine until earning it in 1976. She followed that with a one-year internship in pediatrics at Denver’s Colorado General Hospital, choosing to stay at the same hospital for the next two years for a residency in pediatrics as well then another residency in radiology for three additional years, from 1980 to 1983. A fellowship followed, also at Colorado General Hospital, within the field of ultrasound before Weingast moved onto post-graduate studies in Denver at St. Anthony’s Hospital. She now focuses in radiology, ultrasound and breast imaging in Connecticut following decades of experience in the medical field.
